Black History Assembly

The theme of this year’s Black History Assembly was Keeping the Faith: Looking Back, Looking Forward. We had the pleasure of honoring Shady Hill’s first Black teacher, Faith Chase, and celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip-hop music. It was special to see students sharing songs, poems, and dances with the community and commemorating Black history together. View more photos.
