Grade VIII students took their places at the front of the room for their Symposium on the Great Wave of Immigration (1840s–1920s). Each group explored immigration from a different country—China, Italy, Ireland, Mexico, and Russia. Students presented with confidence, while their classmates listened closely, taking notes, and asking insightful questions.
