|Welcome Shady Hill Alumni!|
Shady Hill's 3,200 alumni represent one of the most engaged, generous, and intellectual groups of any independent elementary school in the country. Our alumni play an important role in the life of Shady Hill. Each alumnus or alumna and each graduating class is a part of our school's history. Each year, alumni attend local and regional events, contribute class notes, volunteer on behalf of the Alumni Association and the school, contribute to the Annual Fund and attend reunion. Shady Hill simply would not be the great school that it is without your interest, support, and involvement.
We hope to see you at one of our many alumni events! Please don't hesitate to contact us in the meantime. You can reach Alanna Boyd in our Advancement Office at 617-520-5238 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

|Happy Birthday, Shady Hill! Quincy Street Plaque Dedication|
Shady Hill was founded as the Cooperative Open Air School in the spring of 1915. The school's first location was on the porch of the Hocking family home at 16 Quincy Street in Cambridge. Location: 16 Quincy Street & Shady Hill Campus
In honor of the school's founding, Harvard will unveil a plaque at the site of the Hocking home at an event on Saturday, May 2 (rain date: Sunday, May 3). The Shady Hill community is invited to the unveiling and we invite everyone to then walk or travel from Harvard Square to the school for a picnic to launch our Centennial Celebration. We hope you will plan to join us!
