• + Admissions Open House - October 20: 1:00 - 3:00 PM

  Attending our Open House is a great way to experience Shady Hill's campus while learning more about the wide range of academics and activities offered. Our Open House is attended by current faculty who will be available to provide a deeper understanding of our curriculum and programs. In addition to having access to our faculty and administrators, current students, parents, and alumni will be available to share their experiences as well. We look forward to seeing you and your family on October 20th!

• + Middle School Open House - November 14: 5:30 - 7:00 PM

  Attending our Middle School Open House is a great way to experience Shady Hill's campus while learning more about the wide range of academics and activities offered. This event is geared towards students applying to our Middle School Program, and students will have the chance to engage in activities with our faculty, have a student led tour, while parents and guardians can tag along or participate in their own parent oriented informative sessions led by faculty and administrators. We look forward to seeing you and your rising middle school student on November 14th, from 5:30-7 PM.

  Join this virtual event to hear from current Lower School and Middle School parents/guardians about their Shady Hill experiences.

• + Virtual Info Session

  Join Sandra Zuckerman, Interim Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid, for a comprehensive information session.  To join any of the Virtual Info Sessions, register here.   These virtual sessions are geared towards parents/guardians interested in fall 2025.

• + Beginner & Kindergarten Playgroups

  The playgroup is an opportunity for us to learn more about your child! They will spend time playing with peers as well as participating in one-on-one time with one of our teachers. 
  
  Grown-ups will have a chance to hear from a member of our faculty during the hour-long playgroup. Presentations will be given by different members of our community each weekend. Last year, our featured presenters included: 
  
  - Marta Rivas, Librarian 
  - Tracy Polte, Science Department Chair 
  - Nina Alexander, Visual Arts Department Chair 
  - Laura Ryan, Beginners Gradehead 
  - Erin Warwick, Lower School Music Teacher 
  
  Playgroups take place on January 11, 25, and February 1. You can register your child through Ravenna.

• + Admissions Day - January 17

  Participating in Admissions Day is required for all students applying to Grades III, IV, V, VI and VII. 

  
  On the morning of Friday, January 17, 2025, applicants have the campus to themselves! Students will participate in group activities and individual work with a teacher during their visit. (This is an event for applying students only.)
