Look Inside

Shady Hill Fair

2024 SHADY HILL FAIR ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26

The Shady Hill Fair is one of our school’s largest and most celebrated community events. The first Shady Hill Fair was in 1968 and was known then as the Shady Hill Country Fair and acted as a fundraiser for the school.

Since then it has evolved — no longer a fundraiser, but a day filled with fun for the whole community. There is something for everyone: a pie-eating contest, fun house, face painting, a talent show, alumni slush booth and games galore!

The Fair is sponsored by the school and relies on the generosity of our community, in terms of donated items, but also those who volunteer their time to help run the event.

This year’s Shady Hill Fair will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Calling all volunteers! If you’re looking for a fun way to get involved with the community—then volunteering for the Fair is for you! No experience or special talents are required and any amount of time is greatly appreciated. Learn more about volunteering!

Congratulations to Lulah Spector '26 who designed the new t-shirt for the Shady Hill Fair! Thank you to all who participated in our t-shirt design contest.
