The Secondary School Process is a time of exploration and discovery, as students and families reflect on themselves and the steps they next want to take beyond Shady Hill. Keri Hughes, the Director of Secondary School Counseling works individually with students and families from the spring of 7th grade through the spring of 8th grade, partnering to:

Students and families benefit from the individualized planning and monthly support as well as the advocacy that the Head of School and Director of Secondary School Counseling do on behalf of Shady Hill’s students and program. When it comes time to choose, students and families feel well-prepared to make an informed decision about their next steps and admission officers feel excited to welcome Shady Hill graduates into their classrooms and communities.
