How To Apply

Co-Applying Siblings

We welcome families to apply more than one child to Shady Hill—it’s a wonderful opportunity for us to get to know your family and we have a large number of families with multiple children attending Shady Hill. It helps create a vibrant and close-knit community! We hope the following steps will help you navigate the admission process for multiple children.

The Steps

List of 2 items.

  • + 1. Schedule Your Parent Interview

To get started, please provide us with your contact information by completing our Inquiry Form. Once the form is submitted, you may schedule a Parent/Guardian Interview.

Parent/Guardian interviews are required for all families who plan to apply. We strive to make the process as accessible as possible; therefore, both virtual and in person interview options are available.
  • + 2. The Application Process

We build separate application files for each child who applies to Shady Hill because each child is unique! This means that you need to complete a separate application for each child applying to Shady Hill.

As you complete the online applications, you may find it helpful to use the same/similar answers for certain questions regarding family activities; however, we do ask that all other answers be specific to each child so that we can get to know them individually.

You will also need to submit the appropriate supplementary documents in accordance with the requirements for each child's application. Examples of supplementary documents include: school reports, recommendations.

You can find each application process listed out, step-by-step, on our How to Apply page. If you have any questions about applying more than one child at the same time to Shady Hill, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
