Mark Stanek Begins Work as Shady Hill Director
A somewhat quieter campus greeted Mark on his first day at school—but July 1 still offered him a chance to meet the summer staff and learn about the Shady Hill Summer Camp.
When Mark Stanek arrived at Shady Hill on Thursday, July 1, summer staff dropped in to welcome him, and Shady Hill Summer Camp staff and campers met him at their morning assembly. His arrival offered an opportunity for Camp staffers and campers to talk about making new friends, and he enthusiastically joined in the fun.
As he began his summer work, Mark sent a message to the school's parents expressing his happiness about being at Shady Hill and bringing them up to date on his plans for the coming weeks. Parents' Council is planning a series of events to introduce him to the parent community in the fall, and the Alumni Office is organizing similar events for Mark to meet alumni and TTC alumni and former SHS parents and faculty.
