Week of Social Action

This week, Lower School students celebrated the Week of Social Action, exploring the impact of Black changemakers and their own role in creating change. Using “The Light She Feels Inside” by BHA speaker Gwendolyn Wallace, they conducted research and developed action plans for making change in their communities. Learning about figures like Ida B. Wells-Barnett, Fannie Lou Hamer, and Marsha P. Johnson, students saw how collective action drives meaningful change. Ask your child how they plan to be a changemaker! View more photos.
