During Lower School's Week of Social Action, each grade learned about an influential changemaker including Alma Thomas, Misty Copeland, Mari Copeny, the Gee's Bend Quiltmakers, Bayard Rustin, and George Moses Horton. After hearing their stories and being inspired by Bisa Butler, they created paintings, poems, and collages based on their changemaker. We can’t wait to see their wonderful work hanging up at Black History Assembly! Viewmore photos.
